After staying competitive through most of their season-opening 15-10 loss to the Dolphins, the Bills might not be as bad as I thought they would be after a very lackluster preseason. They actually appear to have a pretty respectable defense that looks like it isn't just going to roll over and die in Lambeau Field this Sunday. But after being limited to only 166 yards and gaining just 50 yards on the ground, Buffalo could have a hard time filling the bill against what figures to be a very fired-up Packers defense in Green Bay's home opener.
I look for the Packers' offense to be operating on all cylinders right out of the gate against a Buffalo "D" that will be missing MLB Paul Posluszny (knee). After saying he looked "terrible" in Week One, I expect QB Aaron Rodgers to be looking for blood. Same goes for new starting RB Brandon Jackson, whom I suspect will be very pumped to make all those Packers fans who thought the team would be better served trading for Bills RB Marshawn Lynch eat their words.
Prediction: Packers 31, Bills 10
