Strong Points

Three-year starter. Has excellent size to go along with good overall athleticism. Plays in a pro-style system. Has a tight overhand delivery with a quick release. Shows poise in the pocket and able to go through a progression. Has a good feel for pass rushers and enough mobility to extend plays. Good overall decision-maker. Good arm strength

Weak Points

Some question his passion for the game and his overall work ethic. Not a team captain. Will force some throws on occasion. Overall accuracy and ball placement are good but not great. May have an aloof personality and his ability to get along with teammates has been questioned.

The Way We See It

From a physical standpoint, Cook has all the tools to be a good NFL quarterback. The question is, does he have the required intangibles? Being a three-year starter at his position and not being elected captain is a huge red flag. Scouts have come away wondering about his work ethic and passion for the game. Some say he has a bit of an entitlement attitude. There is no question that he can play the game at a high level, but he has to get his priorities set if he wants to succeed at the NFL level.
