Strong Points

One of the better pass rushers in college football. A two-year starter with 28 career sacks. Has some natural pass rush skills. Has good defensive end size and bulk with very long arms. Has the frame to carry 280+. Top athlete with body control. Can change direction and stay on his feet. Very good hand use and has multiple moves. Reacts quickly, finds the ball and makes plays.

Weak Points

Flashes dominating ability but not consistent with it. Can get tall at times and that leads him to be slow off blocks. Has good but not great speed for the position.

The Way We See It

Ogbah is a good fit to play defensive end in a 4-3 scheme. May be able to play on his feet at the next level but that will be determined by workouts. He is a top pass rusher and those traits should carry over to the next level. He has to become more disciplined and consistent with his play versus the run but has the tools to be very good. He is not a finished product, but has the skill set and upside to be very good. He is not as good as some of the edge rushers taken last year (Fowler, Ray, Beasley) because he lacks their speed, explosiveness and athleticism.
