Strong Points

Has adequate overall size with long arms, good quickness and overall athleticism. Good snap reaction and first step. Stays low, gets penetration and can be disruptive vs the run. Stays on his feet and makes plays. Instinctive and a top competitor. Adequate pass rusher (more of a bull rusher) who can push the pocket.

Weak Points

Lacks ideal height for some schemes, needs to tighten up his body and get a little stronger in his upper body. Lacks a variety of moves as a pass rusher. Needs to improve his hand use.

The Way We See It

A two-year starter who plays all along the defensive front. Has good initial quickness and shows some explosiveness coming out of his stance. Is best as a run defender but flashes as a pass rusher. The traits are there, he needs to develop better technique. His best football is in front of him. Should be able to play in a 3-4 or 4-3. Not a premium guy but has the talent to be an eventual starter in the league.
