Strong Points

Has good size and length. Very productive. Extremely athletic with quick feet, speed and body control. Has a strong arm and is accurate with good ball placement. Can find the open man and gets the ball out of his hand quickly. Very good at throwing the ball on the run. Has an excellent feel for pass rushers, can extend plays and make plays with his feet. Good runner. Comes up big in big games.

Weak Points

Does not play in a very complex offense and for the most part it is a half field read offense. Started the 2016 season slowly but came on strong after the first month of the season. Will force some throws, making some poor reads and poor decisions.

The Way We See It

Going into the season, Watson was everyone's No. 1 QB, but had a slow start and slipped in the ratings. He is very capable of becoming a quality NFL starter but he will need time to learn and understand the complexities of an NFL offense. It would be best if he can sit and learn for most of his rookie year. Has some special traits and he could turn out to be a bigger Russell Wilson type. If he gets with the right team, watch out because this player is talented.
