Strong Points

Great athlete, very fluid for his size. Has real good play speed. Quick-reacting and instinctive. Can rush the passer, play the run or drop into coverage. Very good "chase" player and a consistent tackler in close or in space.

Weak Points

Has marginal size for an outside linebacker in a 3-4. Frame is a bit narrow and he doesn't have great growth potential. Sack numbers dropped significantly from '15 to '16.

The Way We See It

A double transfer, started out at TCU, then transferred to a junior college and then on to Louisville. Difficult guy to evaluate. He is a very good football player, but where does a team play him? He plays both on his feet and down. Is used to rush the passer and drop into coverage. He lacks the size and bulk most 3-4 clubs want at OLB and he is also too small to play DE in a 4-3. While he can get a little bigger, he won't grow much. His best bet may be as a ‘Will' in a 4-3 scheme. He has the instincts and range and has experience on his feet. He can also be used some as a pass rusher in that scheme. He will be an interesting guy to track and is a bit of a wild card in the draft.
