Strong Points

Has ideal height and length with the frame to carry 320. Good athlete with quick feet and good agility and recovery. Good snap reaction for both run and pass. Able to get to second level and adjust on the move.

Weak Points

Doesn't play to his talent level or athleticism. Gets lazy with his technique. Shows he can play with a straight back and move his feet, then you will see plays where he bends his waist and crosses his feet. Lacks the strength and power needed to step in and play in the NFL. Gets stalemated too often.

The Way We See It

Two-and-a-half year starter at left tackle. True junior entering the draft but he is not ready for the NFL. Has the height, length and athleticism to play, but he lacks strength and power and gets lazy with his technique. Inconsistent getting movement with his run blocks and can get stalemated. In pass protection, he gets lazy with his technique and then gets in trouble trying to catch up to play. Will cross his feet and bend at the waist. Overall, he has the tools, but does he have the desire? Hit-or-miss type and he needs to add strength and bulk. May never pan out but has the tools to go in the second or third.
