
Of the 221 picks that could have been traded in this year's draft — compensatory picks cannot be dealt — 101, or 45.7 percent, were traded at least once, including those that changed hands prior to the draft.
The following trades were made during draft week 2012:
Thursday, April 26
1) Atlanta traded its seventh-round pick (No. 229) to Philadelphia for CB Asante Samuel. Philadelphia selected Kansas State RB Bryce Brown.
2) Minnesota traded its first-round pick (No. 3) to Cleveland for the Browns’ first- (No. 4), fourth- (No. 118), fifth- (No. 139) and seventh-round (No. 211) picks. Cleveland selected Alabama RB Trent Richardson. Minnesota selected USC OT Matt Kalil, Arkansas WR Jarius Wright, Notre Dame CB-S Robert Blanton and traded the No. 211 pick to Tennessee (see #28 below).
3) Tampa Bay traded its first-round pick (No. 5) to Jacksonville for the Jaguars’ first- (No. 7) and fourth-round (No. 101) picks. Jacksonville selected Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon. Tampa Bay selected Alabama SS Mark Barron and traded the No. 101 pick to Denver (see #9 below).
