Browns fantasy focus
Browns fantasy focus
UPDATED: 09/24/2010

Let's start by saying that it's unclear whether RB Jerome Harrison (thigh) will play Sunday at Baltimore. If he can't play, Peyton Hillis will get the majority of snaps at running back, and he thus becomes the Browns' best fantasy football prospect for Week Three. If Harrison does play, the backs are likely to split work, and second-year pro James Davis could get some carries. Couple the prospect of three running backs getting work and the Ravens traditionally stuffing the run, and this is not a good situation for fantasy owners.

Those who started Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi last week vs. Kansas City were disappointed with the results: four targets, one catch, nine yards. Joshua Cribbs' continued improvement as a receiver also could affect Massaquoi's production down the road. Cribbs had a 65-yard TD against the Chiefs and will likely start with Brian Robiskie (hamstring) doubtful.

Nevertheless, Massaquoi is still the Browns' top threat at WR. He had a touchdown in Week One, and the Browns will be throwing more if they fall behind against the Ravens. Massaquoi isn't a bad option if you're looking for a No. 3 wideout this week, especially in bigger leagues.
