Notes on a resurgent Jermichael Finley and Marcedes Lewis, and more, are in PFW's Week 12 fantasy tips for tight ends.
Packers TE Jermichael Finley looks like he could start making more of a fantasy impact after his best game since the season opener. After catching only 10 passes in the previous five games, Finley caught a 20-yard TD pass in the Packers’ victory over the Lions in Week 11, in addition to setting up the game-winning score with a nifty 40-yard catch-and-run the likes of which hadn’t been seen from him this season. Even though the Packers have receiving weapons galore even without Greg Jennings back in the lineup, look for Finley to be worthy of fantasy starting status for your league’s stretch drive.
Keep playing Raiders TE Brandon Myers with the middling Bengals pass defense next on Oakland’s slate. Myers has averaged six catches for 57 in the past three games and he has scored three TDs in that span even though he dropped a would-be TD in Week 11. He’s developed into a trusted target for QB Carson Palmer.
