The National Football Post reports that the Jets have released NT Howard Green to create a roster spot for DL Trevor Pryce, who was signed Thursday morning. The report states that Green is expected to be re-signed by the team on Monday.

Green has played in only one game this season — the Jets' Week Three win vs. the Dolphins. The six-year pro had one tackle and forced a fumble.
