T.O. violates league policy by tweeting one hour before game
UPDATED: 10/10/2010

The league has reason to fine WR Terrell Owens before his Week Five game against the Buccaneers even begins.

A message was posted on Owens' Twitter feed saying that a fan wearing his jersey at the game would receive a football signed by him and Chad Ochocinco. The message was posted an hour before kickoff, and that violates the NFL's social media policy prohibiting posts 90 minutes before the game.

Even if someone posted the message on his behalf, it would violate the league's rules. Ochocinco was the first player fined for violating the policy when he tweeted before and during a preseason game against the Eagles in August.
