Jets WR White suffers fracture in foot
UPDATED: 06/02/2012

Jets seventh-round pick WR Jordan White suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot on May 21, the team announced.

The injury took place during the team’s first OTA practice. The Western Michigan grad underwent surgery on May 23 and could return to the field at the end of July, in time for the start of training camp.

White was very productive in college, but injuries were a concern, as he suffered two torn ACLs. He has not signed his contract yet, but multiple reports indicate the injury will not affect his contract situation.
