Buccaneers to use new blackout policy
UPDATED: 07/13/2012

The Buccaneers announced they will take advantage of the NFL’s new blackout policy.

Under the new policy, any home games that sell 85 percent of non-premium tickets will be televised locally, instead of the 100 percent that was previously required.

“We hope that this move, along with lower ticket prices, starting at $30 for adults and $15 for children will lead to more televised Buccaneer home games this year,” said Bucs VP of business administration Brian Ford.

The Bills and Colts have decided not to use the new policy. Teams have until Sunday to decide.
