Packers ILB Bishop suffers knee injury

Packers ILB Desmond Bishop suffered an apparent right knee injury Thursday in the first quarter of Green Bay's preseason game vs. the Chargers.

Bishop was carted off the field after limping to the sideline and did not return to the game.

A sixth-year veteran, Bishop started 25 games over the past two seasons. He led the Packers with 115 tackles last season. Bishop also recorded five sacks and a team-high 10 tackles for loss.
