The Browns activated DT Phil Taylor off the physically-unable-to-perform list on Friday and placed DL Brian Sanford on injured reserve. 

Taylor had 59 tackles and four sacks while starting every game as a rookie last season.

Sanford played in last week’s game after spending the first seven weeks on the practice squad.

Cleveland also signed DL Ronnie Cameron to the active roster.
