The Dolphins placed CB Richard Marshall on injured reserve and claimed CB Brandon McDonald off waivers.

Marshall started the first four games of the season for Miami after signing this past offseason. He had 18 tackles, five passes defensed and one interception. Before his back injury, Marshall had not missed a game in his six NFL season.

The Buccaneers recently waived McDonald, who has appeared in eight games with two starts this season. He has 21 tackles, two passes defensed and one interception.

Nolan Carroll has been starting at corner for Marshall.
