The Falcons signed WR Tim Toone and TE Chase Coffman to the active roster and placed TE Tommy Gallarda on injured reserve.

Toone, a seventh-round pick in 2010 of the Lions, caught three passes for 55 yards for the Falcons this preseason.

Coffman, a third-round pick by the Bengals in 2009, joined the Falcons on Aug. 11 and has been with the team’s practice squad.

Gallarda played in all nine games this season as a reserve tight end. He had one catch for seven yards.
