The Rams activated C Scott Wells from the short-term injured-reserve list on Tuesday and waived FB Brit Miller.

Wells started in Week One but suffered a foot injury and has not played since.

The ninth-year veteran started every game over the past two seasons for the Packers. He played in 111 games with 100 starts for Green Bay from 2004-11 and signed a four-year deal with the Rams in March.

Miller, a fourth-year pro, has appeared in all nine games for the Rams this season with one start.
