The Seahawks waived/injured WR Braylon Edwards and placed OG James Carpenter on the reserve/non-football illness list. They signed OG Rishaw Johnson off the practice squad.

Edwards played in 10 games with one start this season and had eight catches for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Earlier on Tuesday, Edwards tweeted about his former team, the Jets, saying fans should, “Blame the idiots calling shots."

Carpenter started seven games at left guard this season. Johnson is an undrafted rookie.
