John Skelton will return to being the Cardinals’ starting quarterback, head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Wednesday.

Skelton has not played since Week 11, when he completed only 2-of-7 passes for six yards and was benched for rookie Ryan Lindley.

Lindley has thrown five interceptions in his two starts. He completed 10-of-31 passes for 72 yards in the Cardinals’ loss to the Jets in Week 13.

Skelton has thrown two touchdowns and five interceptions in six games and five starts this season. Kevin Kolb has not played since suffering a rib injury in Week Six. The Cardinals have lost eight in a row after a 4-0 start and play the Seahawks on Sunday.
