Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe has multiple broken ribs and will be placed on injured reserve, according to Pro Football Talk.

Bowe left Sunday’s loss to the Browns with the injury.

In 13 games this season, Bowe has 59 catches for 801 yards and three touchdowns for the 2-10 Chiefs. The Chiefs' wide receiver with the next-most receiving yards is Jon Baldwin with 261.

Bowe played under the franchise tag in 2012 and will be a free agent in 2013.
