Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt announced that QB Ryan Lindley will start in Week 15 against the Lions.

In four games and two starts, the rookie has completed 48.3 percent of his passes with zero touchdowns and five interceptions.

Lindley entered the 58-0 loss to Seattle in relief of starter John Skelton but neither was effective. Arizona placed Kevin Kolb on injured reserve Wednesday and claimed QB Brian Hoyer off waivers earlier this week.

The Cardinals bring a nine-game losing streak into Sunday's home game against the Lions.
