The Saints announced Saturday that they have placed FS Malcolm Jenkins and OT Charles Brown on injured reserve.

OG Ricky Henry and S Jerico Nelson were promoted from the practice squad to fill the spots on the 53-man roster.

Jenkins (hamstring) has started every game this season and ranks third on the team with 95 tackles. Brown, a backup tackle, appeared in 10 games this season and made three starts before suffering a knee injury Nov. 18 at Oakland.

Henry and Nelson have spent all of the regular season on the Saints' practice squad.
