Steelers TE Heath Miller’s solid season ends on a sour note.

The eighth-year veteran tore his ACL in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals and will require surgery. He also injured his MCL, and possibly his PCL.

"Unfortunately his season comes to an end," head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters. "He has been rock solid for us and we really appreciate his efforts. We understand injuries are a part of the game, but unfortunately it brings his season to a close."

Miller had 71 catches and hit career-high marks with 816 yards and eight touchdowns. Miller, who started all 15 games he played, led the team in receptions and was second in yards and receiving touchdowns.
