The Bears waived second-year WR Dane Sanzenbacher on Monday, the team announced.

Sanzenbacher played in only four games this season and had one catch for seven yards. 

Last season, Sanzenbacher played in all 16 games with one start and had 27 catches for 276 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bears likely will use the roster spot for a defensive back or running back because of injuries, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
