The Jets waived WR Mardy Gilyard, the team announced Monday.

Gilyard appeared in two games for the Jets this season. He had two catches for 15 yards against Jacksonville in Week 14.

Prior to joining the Jets, Gilyard played in six games this season for the Eagles. He played in 11 games with two starts as a rookie for the Rams in ’10.
