Ravens place OG Reid on I.R.
UPDATED: 01/11/2013

The Ravens placed OLG Jah Reid (toe) on injured reserve and activated DB Asa Jackson.

Reid played in nine games and started the last seven games of the regular season. He missed last week’s wild-card win over the Colts.

With Reid out, the Ravens had Kelechi Osemele starting at left guard and brought Bryant McKinnie off the bench to play left tackle, which moved Michael Oher to right tackle.

Jackson, a rookie out of Cal Poly, played in three games and made one tackle this season. He recently served a four-game suspension for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.
