The injury bug has ravaged the Colts' secondary this week.
Colts S Bob Sanders will undergo surgery to repair a torn biceps tendon and has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Head coach Jim Caldwell announced that the Indianapolis secondary would be without CB Kelvin Hayden for a month while he recovers from a knee injury. This comes after CB Marlin Jackson tore his ACL in practice on Wednesday, ending his season. Caldwell also revealed that WR Anthony Gonzalez will need additional time to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery. Gonzalez hasn't played since Week One.
The most significant blow is the loss of Sanders, a two-time Pro Bowler. Sanders played in only two games this season after appearing in just six during the 2008 campaign.
