Browns' Cribbs expected to play at Detroit
UPDATED: 11/20/2009

Browns RS-WR Josh Cribbs (neck) practiced on a limited basis Friday and is expected to play Sunday at Detroit, head coach Eric Mangini indicated Friday.

"I anticipate Josh playing all of the roles he normally plays this week," Mangini said.

Cribbs was injured on a frightening-looking play at the end of the Browns' 16-0 loss to the Ravens on Monday night. After lateraling the ball, Cribbs collided with Ravens DL Dwan Edwards. Cribbs was carted off the field on a stretcher and taken to a hospital, but he wasn't injured seriously, and he returned to practice on a limited basis on Thursday.

Cribbs has thrived even as the Browns have slid to the bottom of the AFC North standings, returning a kickoff and punt for a touchdown, rushing for 164 yards on 25 carries and catching 12 passes for 71 yards. He is the key to the Browns' "Wildcat" package, which is one of the more important components of an offense that lacks punch.
