6. 49ers RB Carlos Hyde: Hyde busted his tail all offseason to stave off numerous challengers hand-picked by the new regime and his reward was the starting job, yes, but also a slate beginning with the Panthers, Seahawks and Cardinals — Nos. 25, 28, and 31, respectively, in fantasy points allowed to backs in 2016. Ouch. If Hyde, who was actually modestly productive in the opener with 77 total yards on 15 touches, can weather the rough terrain to begin his contract year, the payoff could be huge — for fantasy owners, not an NFL running back looking for his second contract. Hyde played 79 percent of the snaps a week ago and, a year ago, went into Seattle and stung the Seahawks, albeit in a losing effort, with 103 yards and two touchdowns. It's unlikely that'll happen again, however, and that may be a good thing for owners who missed out on their shot to draft and still want to make a run at Hyde.
