Pro Football Weekly contributors Jon Styf and Kyle Nabors debate if the Packers are poised to make a playoff run with Aaron Rodgers' impending return, or if another dark horse can steal a playoff berth.
Nabors: So Jon, remember last season when Aaron Rodgers guaranteed the Packers would run the table and make the playoffs? With Rodgers set to return from a broken collarbone to play this weekend against Carolina, and with Green Bay alive with a 7-6 record, can the Packers run the table to make the playoffs again?
Styf: To be clear, the quote was "I feel like we can run the table" and I'd say that falls short of a guarantee. While Sunday's come-from-behind win was ... a win, it also came against one of the all-time worst NFL teams, which should never have been ahead in the first place. I'll guarantee it right here. The Packers won't beat the Panthers, Vikings and Lions to finish the season. It's more likely that they lose all three, in fact.
