The Saints dug in and responded after the Colts scored the first 10 points of Super Bowl XLIV and did some nice things in the running game on their first scoring drive.
New Orleans has had some success running behind ORG Jahri Evans and figures to continue working the right side of the line going forward. Also, the Saints' passing game showed signs of life. When QB Drew Brees has time to throw, receivers are working open.
Finally, PK Garrett Hartley had to come away with a nice dose of confidence connecting on his first FG try.
Down just 10-3, the Saints now need their defense to step up.
